At Avp News24 (https://www.avpnews24.com), we are committed to publishing accurate, well-sourced, and trustworthy news. Upholding journalistic integrity and maintaining public trust are central to our mission.
Our Fact-Checking Principles:
a) We rigorously fact-check all information before publication. Our team investigates claims with skepticism, questions assumptions, and challenges conventional thinking.
b) We strive for due accuracy—ensuring that information is as accurate as possible, based on the nature and context of the content. Any limitations that affect the degree of accuracy are clearly mentioned.
c) Our content is always well-sourced, evidence-based, and corroborated. Where we are uncertain, we are transparent about what we do not know and avoid unfounded speculation.
d) Our journalists never intentionally plagiarize, misrepresent facts, or distort visual/contextual elements in any way.
e) We seek independent verification of claims, especially when made by public figures or individuals with vested interests. If claims cannot be independently verified, we attribute them clearly to their source.
f) Avp News24 takes full responsibility for the accuracy of the information it publishes. If a factual error is discovered, we correct it promptly and transparently. We do not knowingly mislead our audience or fabricate facts.
g) We provide readers with a fair opportunity to report errors through a “Suggest A Correction” section at the end of each article published on our website.
h) Our newsroom follows a multi-layer fact-checking system. All stories undergo editorial review based on complexity, sensitivity, and time constraints, ensuring quality and accuracy before publication.
